Susan Tiger
Susan Tiger lives and works in Co. Mayo. She has shown extensively throughout Ireland, most recently at The Dock, Carrick on Shannon. In 2010, she completed a collection of books, “The Shape of Things”, “Frankness” and “Look How Beautiful The Rain Is”, in conjunction with her exhibition at the Ballina Arts Centre.
Over the years, her work has been shown in galleries in Amsterdam and Philadelphia. In 2000 and 2009 she was awarded Visual Arts Bursaries from the Arts Council and in 2001 a Project Grant. Tiger’s work is in the collections of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, The Iziko South African National Gallery, Cape Town and the Weatherspoon Art Museum in Greensboro, North Carolina, U.S.A., as well as many private collections here and abroad. She is currently working on a new body of work.
