Claire Power
Cork-based artist Claire Power studied at the Crawford College of Art in 2008 – 2011, exhibiting in the 2011 Diploma show at Cork’s Elysian Building. More recently she has been working with artist Maud Cotter, and on her own projects, which explore and investigate aspects of seeing beyond the immediately obvious.
Hearth is her first video project, and she chose to respond to the unspoken narrative of the poem, addressing the impulses that drive an idea of artwork.
