Cléa van der Grijn
Cléa van der Grijn (b 1967,Dublin,) gained recognition for her textured paintings, pieces that have clearly emerged from a sustained physical engagement with materials. As well as collaborative and process based works, Clea has employed various media, including large format photography, site specific installations and film.
Since graduating with an honours degree from the National College of Art and Design, van der Grijn has mounted over twenty solo shows to date.
Her work is part of numerous private and public collections around the world.
Van der Grijn has received much recognition in the form of grants, bursaries, awards, sponsorships and residencies.
