The Poetry Project

Through the ages, our poetry preambled Ireland. It remains our global herald. Of late, our film craft too announces us as creators of some renown and in a relatively new medium. A cohabitation of poetry sound and video image in this unique project is a frontier and daring teasing of the boundaries of these art forms. It is another unique example of the gently persuasive powers of arts combined.

A poem for a Monday morning…

What better way to start the week, wherever you are in the world?

Every week, from January 1st 2013, we will be uploading a poem and accompanying video artwork, in celebration of Ireland’s literary and visual creativity.

Week by week, over six months, you’ll be able to follow the work of leading, and emerging artists and writers, and discover Ireland through different eyes.

Be moved, inspired, enthralled.

The Poetry Project is absolutely free, and is presented as part of the Culture Programme of the EU Presidency.

Un poème pour le lundi matin… Y’a-t-il une meilleure façon de débuter sa semaine, où que vous soyez dans le monde?

Toutes les semaines à partir du 1 Janvier 2013, nous allons uploader un poème ainsi qu’une video artistique l’accompagnant pour célébrer la créativité litéraire et visuelle de l’Irlande.

Semaine après semaine sur six mois, vous allez suivre le travail d’artistes et écrivains connus mais aussi émergents, et redécouvrir l’Irlande.

Soyez ému, inspiré, séduit.

Le Projet Poésie est gratuit et a été créer pour marquer la présidence Irlandaise de l’EU.

Cada semana desde el 1 de enero de 2013 publicaremos un poema acompañado de videos artísticos celebrando la creatividad literaria y visual de Irlanda.

El Proyecto Poesía es totalmente gratuito y ha sido creado para potenciar la presidencia de Irlanda en la UE.

Una poesia per il lunedì mattina… Che bel modo di iniziare la settimana, dovunque tu sia!

Ogni settimana, dal primo di Gennaio 2013, immetteremo una poesia accompagnata da un video artistico, per celebrare la creatività letteraria e visuale dell’Irlanda.

Settimana dopo settimana, nell’arco di sei mesi, potrai seguire il lavoro di artisti e scrittori, sia affermati che emergenti, e scoprire l’Irlanda attraverso punti di vista differenti.

Commuoviti, ispirati, meravìgliati.

Il Progetto Poesia è assolutamente gratis, ed è stato creato in occasione della Presidenza del’Irlanda nell’Unione Europea.

Ein Gedicht zum Montag morgen… Lässt sich ein besserer Wochenanfang denken, ganz gleich wo Sie sich gerade befinden auf unserem Erdball?

Ab 1. Januar 2013 werden wir zur Feier der literarischen und visuellen Kreativität Irlands jede Woche ein Gedicht mit dazugehörigem Video ins Netz stellen.

Woche für Woche, sechs Monate lang können Sie die Arbeiten wichtiger Künstler auch der jüngeren Generation verfolgen und Irland mit neuen Augen entdecken.

Das Lyrik-Projekt ist absolut kostenlos und wurde anlässlich Irlands EU-Vorsitz geschaffen.
